Archiving Policy
BioMedPha is committed to the long-term preservation, security, and continued accessibility of its published scholarly content.
Digital Preservation
The journal supports long-term digital preservation through recognized archiving and preservation systems, including:
- LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) – preserves journal content through a distributed network of participating libraries.
- CLOCKSS (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) – provides long-term preservation and continued access to scholarly content in the event that the original content becomes unavailable.
- PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) – supports preservation of scholarly content published through Open Journal Systems (OJS).
Backup and Recovery
In addition to external preservation mechanisms, BioMedPha maintains regular backups of its OJS website, database, published articles, and associated files.
These backups support restoration and recovery in the event of technical failure, accidental data loss, security incidents, or other unexpected disruptions.
Through digital preservation and regular backup procedures, BioMedPha aims to maintain the integrity, security, accessibility, and long-term availability of its scholarly record.
