Plagiarism Policy

Definition of Plagiarism
Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to:

Plagiarism Detection
All submitted manuscripts undergo plagiarism checks using industry-recognized plagiarism detection software during the editorial review process. Any manuscript found to contain plagiarized material will be rejected immediately.
Consequences of Plagiarism
If plagiarism is detected at any stage of the publication process, BioMediPha may take the following actions:
- Before Publication: The manuscript will be rejected, and the author(s) may be barred from submitting to the journal in the future.
- After Publication: The published article will be retracted, a public notice of retraction will be issued, and the authors’ affiliated institutions may be informed.
Author Responsibility
Authors are responsible for ensuring the originality of their submissions and must properly cite all referenced materials, including text, data, figures, and previously published work. Any reused content must be explicitly acknowledged and used with proper permissions where required.
Guidance for Authors
We advise all authors to:
- Ensure thorough citation of all sources and previously published materials.
- Use quotation marks and citations when reproducing exact wording.
- Clearly mark any reused content and explain its inclusion.
