Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

1. Scope and Eligibility

This journal welcomes original research articles, review papers, case studies, theoretical contributions, policy briefs, and short communications that align with the journal’s broad scope. (See About the Journal section).

Submissions must be unpublished, not under review elsewhere, and written in clear, professional English.

2. Manuscript Types

  • Original Research Articles (5,000–8,000 words)
  • Review Articles (up to 10,000 words)
  • Case Studies / Short Papers (2,000–4,000 words)
  • Policy Papers or Briefs (1,500–3,000 words)
  • Book Reviews / Commentary (1,000–2,000 words)

Word counts exclude references, tables, and figures.

3. Manuscript Format

File Type: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx)

Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt

Spacing: 1.5 line spacing

Margins: 1 inch (2.54 cm) on all sides

Length: As appropriate per type (see above)

4. Manuscript Structure

    • Title Page: Include the title, authors’ full names, institutional affiliations, contact emails, Corresponding author indicated clearly, and ORCID iD
    • Abstract: 150–250 words summarizing the study.
    • Keywords: 3–5 keywords.
    • Introduction: Background, rationale, and research objectives.
    • Methodology: Detailed explanation of research design and methods.
    • Results: Clear presentation of findings with visuals if necessary.
    • Discussion: Interpretation of results and comparison with existing literature.
    • Conclusion: Summary of findings and contributions.
    • References: Use APA style.
    • Appendices: Optional; for supplementary materials.
  1. Citation Style

This journal follows the APA (American Psychological Association) citation format.

6. Submission Requirements

  • Originality: Work must be original and unpublished.
  • Authorship: All listed authors must have made significant contributions.
  • Conflicts of Interest: Disclose any financial or personal conflicts.
  • Permissions: Authors are responsible for obtaining rights for any copyrighted material.

7. Submission Process

All manuscripts must be submitted through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) submission portal. Authors must register or log in at: Click here

During submission, authors will be required to:

  • Submit two separate files:
    1. Manuscript File (Blinded): This version should contain the full manuscript without any identifying information (e.g., author names, affiliations, acknowledgments) to ensure a double-blind peer review.
    2. Title Page (Author ID File): This separate file should include:
      -  Full manuscript title
      -  Full names of all authors
      - Institutional affiliations
      - Email addresses
      - ORCID iDs
      - A brief abstract or summary of the study
  • Confirm that the manuscript is original and not under consideration elsewhere
  • Declare any conflicts of interest
  • Acknowledge that all co-authors have approved the final manuscript

8. Ethical Requirements

  • All research must comply with ethical standards.
  • For studies involving human or animal subjects, include a statement of ethical approval and informed consent.
  • Authors must adhere to the COPE guidelines on research ethics and publication misconduct.

9. Use of Generative AI

Authors must disclose any use of AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Grammarly) in manuscript preparation. AI-generated content must not substitute for original scholarly analysis or intellectual contribution. Final responsibility lies with the human authors.

10. Review Process

All submissions undergo double-blind peer review by subject experts. Authors may be asked to revise and resubmit based on reviewer comments. Detailed guidance will accompany editorial decisions.

11. Publication and Licensing

  • This journal is an open-access journal with no article processing charges (APCs).
  • All published content is licensed under CC BY 4.0, allowing authors to retain copyright.

12. Accountability:
Authors remain fully responsible for content integrity.
