5. Referencing Style

The journal follows the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA), 7th Edition.

Authors must use APA style consistently for in-text citations and the reference list. Every source cited in the manuscript should appear in the reference list, and references should be accurate and complete.

Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) should be provided where available and formatted according to APA 7th Edition requirements.

6. Double-Blind Submission

Econova follows a double-blind peer review process. Authors must therefore ensure that the manuscript submitted for review does not contain information that directly identifies them.

Authors should provide:

Blinded Manuscript: The main manuscript without author names, affiliations, email addresses, acknowledgements, or other identifying information.

Title Page: A separate title page containing the manuscript title, names of all authors, institutional affiliations, email addresses, ORCID iDs where available, and identification of the corresponding author.

7. Tables and Figures

Tables and figures should be relevant, clearly presented, consecutively numbered, and appropriately cited in the text.

Titles, captions, and notes should follow APA 7th Edition conventions where applicable.

Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce copyrighted figures, tables, images, or other third-party material where permission is required.

8. Research Ethics

Authors must comply with recognized standards of research and publication ethics.

Research involving human participants, surveys, interviews, personal or confidential data, or other activities requiring ethical oversight should comply with applicable institutional and legal requirements. Ethical approval and informed consent information should be provided where applicable.

Authors must disclose relevant conflicts of interest and funding sources.

9. Authorship

All listed authors should have made meaningful scholarly contributions to the research, approved the submitted manuscript, and agreed to its submission.

Guest, gift, and ghost authorship are not acceptable. Individuals who contributed to the research but do not qualify for authorship should be appropriately acknowledged.

10. Plagiarism and Originality

Submitted manuscripts may be screened using appropriate similarity-detection software.

Authors must properly acknowledge all sources and avoid plagiarism, self-plagiarism, duplicate publication, data fabrication or falsification, and other forms of research or publication misconduct.

A similarity percentage alone is not treated as proof of plagiarism; identified similarities are evaluated in context according to the journal's Plagiarism Policy.

11. Use of Artificial Intelligence

Generative AI tools cannot be listed as authors.

Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, citations, analysis, conclusions, and integrity of their manuscripts. Substantive use of generative AI in conducting the research or preparing the manuscript should be transparently disclosed where applicable.

12. Submission and Peer Review

Manuscripts must be submitted electronically through the journal's Open Journal Systems (OJS) submission platform.

Research manuscripts that successfully pass initial editorial screening are evaluated through the journal's double-blind peer review process by at least two independent reviewers with appropriate expertise.

The final publication decision rests with the Editor-in-Chief or an appropriately designated editor.

13. Author Fees

Econova: A Journal of Business, Commerce, and Economic Research does not charge authors submission fees, Article Processing Charges (APCs), peer review fees, or publication fees.

Submission and publication are free of charge.

14. Copyright, Open Access and Licensing

Authors retain copyright in their published work.

Articles are published on an immediate open access basis under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) License, permitting sharing and adaptation, including commercial reuse, provided appropriate attribution is given to the original author(s) and source.

15. Author Responsibility

Authors are responsible for the accuracy, originality, ethical integrity, data, references, and other content of their manuscripts.

Submission of a manuscript indicates that all authors have read and agreed to comply with the journal's editorial, ethical, peer review, copyright, licensing, and open access policies.
