Archiving Policy

Econova: A Journal of Business, Commerce, and Economic Research is committed to the long-term preservation, security, and continued accessibility of its published scholarly content.

Digital Preservation

The journal uses recognized digital preservation and archiving systems to support the long-term availability of its published content:

  • LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) – supports distributed preservation by maintaining multiple copies of journal content across participating libraries.
  • CLOCKSS (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) – provides long-term preservation and continued access to scholarly content if it becomes unavailable from its original source.
  • PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) – supports long-term preservation of scholarly content published through Open Journal Systems (OJS).

Backup and Recovery

In addition to external preservation services, the journal maintains regular backups of its OJS website, database, published articles, and associated journal files.

These backups support restoration and recovery in the event of technical failure, data loss, security incidents, or other unexpected disruptions.

Through LOCKSS, CLOCKSS, PKP PN, and regular system backups, Econova aims to ensure the long-term preservation, integrity, security, and accessibility of its scholarly record.
