Archiving Policy
Algora: Journal of AI, Data Science & Engineering is committed to the long-term preservation, security, and continued accessibility of its published scholarly content.
Digital Archiving
The journal uses recognized digital preservation systems to support the long-term availability of its published content:
- LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) – supports distributed digital preservation by maintaining multiple copies of journal content.
- CLOCKSS (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) – provides long-term preservation of scholarly content and supports continued access if content is no longer available from its original source.
- PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) – provides preservation services for journals using Open Journal Systems (OJS) and supports the long-term preservation of published content.
Backup and Recovery
In addition to external digital preservation, the journal maintains regular backups of its OJS website, database, published articles, and associated journal files.
Backups are maintained to support restoration and recovery in the event of technical failure, data loss, security incidents, or other unexpected disruptions.
The journal periodically reviews its backup and preservation arrangements to support the continued availability and integrity of its scholarly content.
Through LOCKSS, CLOCKSS, PKP PN, and regular system backups, the journal aims to ensure the long-term preservation, security, and accessibility of its published scholarly record.
