Abstract

This study examines the impact of educational technology on students' learning abilities, focusing on the effectiveness of digital tools in enhancing academic outcomes, engagement, and cognitive skills. Using a mixed-methods approach, data were collected through surveys, focus groups, and performance assessments from a diverse student population. Findings reveal that digital tools significantly improved academic performance, fostering better comprehension and active participation among students. However, challenges such as unreliable internet and limited access to devices, particularly in rural areas, highlighted the digital divide. Additionally, some students reported a decline in critical thinking and problem-solving skills due to over-reliance on technology. A strong positive correlation between access to technology and academic performance was identified, emphasizing the transformative potential of digital tools. The study provides actionable insights for educators and policymakers to promote equitable and effective integration of educational technology in learning environments.
